Professor: The question is….what did you do last summer vacation?

J : This summer vacation, right?

Professor : Yeah, this year`s.

J: This year`s last summer vacation, I was challenged for a camp. Camp was about Korean university students and foreign university students who came to Korea for study. So, a kind of organization pick some students and 4days 3nights stay together and browsing the companies.

K: Wow! That`s really cool.

J : So, by a big bus , we went together. Luckily, I was selected as a camp member. I went there with my same major friend. She was also challenged for it. And She was selected also. so we went together and I could make many friends of our university students and other university students and with foreign friends.

K : That sounds really great

J :  Yes, it was unique experience to me. And  the most good thing was everything was  for free.

E : Wow good~.

J : So, it was really good. But except I had to go to Dae-geon for myself. But it was good.  How about you?

K : I went to backpacking to Europe with my younger brother. Actually, we planned to go to the America, but my younger brother hasn’t finished the military service. So it was difficult to him to get a America visa. So we decided to go to Europe because we need just passport. So we travelled Europe and I went many museums and galleries so at the end of the travelling, I was just get tired of museums and galleries. So it was really funny.

E : Where did you stay?

K : I usually stayed Youth hostels and bed and breakfast. It was really cool. What about you?

E : I went to Thai with my family. Before I went to Thai I expected the sea in Thai would be crystal clear but it wasn’t. So I was disappointed but the people in Thai were very kind.

K : I really hope to go to the Thailand.

E: Why?

K: Because I like really..R&R vacation. So I really want to go there.

E: But the weather was so hot and humid. I think more tired than Korea.

K: Ah, I see~ Then what was your best vacation?

J: Hmm. The best vacation in my life was in last year`s summer vacation, that was kind of also selected. But through my university, I went to Boston, as a short English training camp, the title was that. Actually that camp was not like an English training, it was …  just I have to attend the EF Institute and the rest of the times, I stayed in dormitory with our university students and other foreign friends.

K: Yeah, I think that would be interesting to you.

J : Yes, because it was the for the first time that I went to abroad, so It was interesting. And there was a lot of unique things unlike our culture. I had many foreign friends, I really liked that. And also liked the fashion of there. At that time I just almost like a shopaholic or something. So it was really impressive.

E : Do you contact with foreign friends now?

J : Right after I just came to Korea, I contacted with them through e-mails sometimes, but not now.

E :  Oh, I understand, writing in English is difficult and tired sometimes.

K: Yeah~. haha. That’s true.

J: Yes.

K: My best vacation ever was when I travelled Fiji island. Because as I said, I really like relaxing vacation. Because when I was a freshman or sophomore, I really liked to roughing it. But as I getting old, I really like

So when I went there, the scenic view was really great, and because the water is so crystal clear, you can actually see your leg when you’re in the water. So it was really great.

E: what did you do there?

K: I did a lot of activities, like scuba diving for the first time in my life and snorkeling  and sailing, parasailing and sun bathing. I did lots of things.

E: It’s awesome.

J : Wow!

J: Did you go there for backpack or package tour?

K: No, I just.. backpacking. I didn’t use any package tour.

E: I don’t like package tour.

K: Me neither. What about you?

E: Last winter I stayed in Australia and I went to trip for Christmas holiday with my friends. It was kind of road trip because it took ten hours from the place that I stayed. And we only had one driver because only one person of us had international driver licence. He had to drive for ten hours.

K: Wow. that’s a long time~

E: And on the way to trip we got a fine from police.

K: Why?

E: Because we excessed the speed limit. And I was so scared.

K: Ah~ That’s terrible

E: What do you want to do this winter vacation?

J : My plan is that I have to take winter classes in the university even if it`s the end semester of university. I have to take two classes , so during the time taking the winter classes I think I cannot do any kinds of activities. But the planning thing, what I am thinking now, after finishing the classes I want to go to Japan with my friend about 4days 3nights.

K: So are you gonna go Japan?

J: Yeah..planning

K: Oh? Really? Because I think I might go Japan as well.

J: This winter vacation?

K: Yeah~, because one of my friend go Japan to study. She is my best friend. So I might go there. What about you?

E: I have tentative plan to go to Hongkong but it depends on my sister. If she is busy I can’t go but if she is not very busy I can go. Because she becomes senior next year so she should study.

K: Uhm..I see

K: So, have you ever bought souvenir when you travel?

E: Yeah I usually buy key holders for me and my friends because it’s kind of cheap.

K: Ah, that’s cool. haha

E: What about you?

K: When I went to Fiji, I bought bracelets and broaches made by fishshell.

K: When you go to the sea, you can collect..

J: Ah~, it`s like a Jewelry?

K: Yeah. I thought they are really fancy.

J: Aren`t they expensive?

K: No, it was very cheap.

J: Wow, I love that.

E: What did you buy for souvenir?

J : My souvenir was….just that it was only one time I went abroad, so at that time I thought to my friends , I haven`t got enough money so I bought I love New York shirts in a cheap price.

K: I wanted to get that T-shirts~!

J : You can get it in cheap price when you go to New York. So, I bought them for friends. And some Burts-bees in the CVS store. So, I was a little bit sorry for friends. But they liked it. So, I really thought it very nice.

K: Awesome!

J: Thank you.

J: And what is your favorite fashion style?

E: I like casual style. I usually prefer t-shirts and just little bit tight jeans and  plat shoes. What about you?
K: I usually don’t wear vertical stripes because it makes me look more skinny. So I like horizontal stripe and baggy pants. like very comfortable clothes.

E: but I want to look more skinny.

E: Me too.

K: What about you?

J: I think I am pamper.. no, no, plump! So, I need to be look more slim. So, unlike you, I like the verticle striped, I usually wear casual. But unlike my real wearing style, I like chick style. So, I want to wear something like very skin-tight and something looks leg very long, the boot-cut? Yeah.

E: Did you guys buy any merchandise now-days?

K: Yes, I like shopping. I’m a shopaholic. I like to go shopping once a week or something. So I usually browsing many brand new clothes and sometimes it makes me a impulse buyer and it helps me to have champagne taste. So I like to buy many things and many stuff.

E: But I asked did you buy any merchandise now-days.

K: Ah, recently? Sorry, I misunderstood.

E: it’s okay.

K: Ah, recently I bought windbreaker and hiking boots. I decided to go mountain climbing.

J: Ah~, so that`s why you bought the wind-breaker!

K: Because near my home, there is a Boo-khan mountain, but I’ve never been to there before. So I decided to go mountain climbing. for exercise

K: What about you?

J: The recent thing I bought is this turtle-neck shirt which I bought at Uni-qlo brand name store that is located in Lotte-young-plaza. This is the first time I bought clothes in Uniqlo. I just heard from my friend that this brand`s price is reasonable and quality is not bad. So, I went there. There were a lot of clothes. It was a big selection. Really a lot of types of clothes were there. So, I bought it in a better cheap price.

K: Where is your favorite shopping place?

E: I like Lotte department store because it’s also big selection and I can try on many clothes that I want to wear. And refund is easier than others. What about you?

K: I also like Lotte department store. I really like go to department store rather than Dongdaemoon or Namdaemoon. Because when I go Dongdaemoon or Namdaemoon I always ripped off. I’m terrible at haggling. So I always regret. And you know they have no return policy and they can’t refund. So I like to go department store. What about you?

J: In my case I love to look around or browse in the mom & pop store which is the road shops. The most shopping place I love to go is near Hong-dae. There are some kinds of specific mom & pop stores. So, there are kinds of novelty things. First I just browse, then I remember something special at home, then later I buy it.

E: me too. I always compare the price.

K: Really? I never do that. just annoying

E: But when I go to Myoung-dong or Dong-dae-moon I go to with my friend because she is very good at haggling. So she always helps me to get a discount.

K: Great!

E: She looks like almost fight.

J: I also do well in haggle with the merchant.

K: Really? so you are a master haggler.

J: So, one of my best friends and my brother, when they want to buy something they always take me.

K: So, do you like go shopping with your friends?

J: Yes, with friends and with my mom. But for friends, just like one friend, because her taste is really similar with me, so, she likes chick style so I go with her.

J: Who do you go with shopping?

K: If I go window shopping, I usually go with my friends. If I want to really shop, then I go with my mother. Because she’s the one who has a credit card. And because my mother is not a cheap person and wants to buy me top end things, so I like to go with my mother. And sometimes my mother spend money like a sailor. So it’s good for me. What about you?

E: I like to go shopping with my sister. because we have similar style. and I also like go with my mom. but she doesn’t like pay too much.

J: Sorry, but I thought you forgot answering about the question, What did you buy recently?

E: I bought a heavy coat.

K: Is it the one?

E: It was kind of bargain because I got a 30% discount.

K: Wow~

E: Because that time was bargain sale time. I think it’s already finished.

K: That’s too bad. So are you a bargain shopper?

E: I don’t think so but I prefer.

K: Me, too. I want to shop when they have a bargain.

E: but sometimes I miss the bargain…..

J: The bargain sale season~?

E: But sometimes I miss the bargain sale because I don’t know when they have it. do you want to have any merchandise that you want to buy?

K: Because the weather is getting cold, I like to buy turtleneck like you and scarf.

What about you?

E: I wanna buy Nintendo  you know?

J: It`s like a game.

E: but it’s too rich for my blood. so I can’t afford it

J: I don’t know how much that is

K: Me neither.

E: I don’t know how to say the number …Sorry. What about you?

J: The thing I want to buy is a thick coat like you. The fur is… I want to buy a fur but I am not afford to buy a fur, so, a thick coat. I think Korean department stores` prices are not really  reasonable, too much expensive. I am really thrifty buyer, so I am looking for something bargain sale`s coat. Look around every where.

K: Uhm. Good

J: Where do you want to go abroad if you can go abroad?

K: If I can, I really like to go Africa.

E : Why?

K: Because I think that place is really unique and they have folk village. So I really want to see that kind of traditional things and I really want to try on traditional clothes. What about you?

E” I wanna go to Europe because traveling Europe needs a lot of money. So if I can I wanna go there. What about you?

J: Whenever sometimes people ask me about that I usually say New York. Because that was the first place I went abroad and at that time it was too impressive about fashion. So, just only for that reason I want to go back to New York. So, gather really lots of money and buy lots of things in the stores especially on the 6th venue. They are expensive but whatever I`d love to.

 

My first vacation trip to abroad

 I had my first experience to abroad last summer. I even haven`t  boarded on a plane in my lifetime. I wasn`t too much desirable about boarding on a plane, but I was always curious about what the feeling would be like to get landed in the flight and how the flight would be like in the sky. However, finally I could get the chance of last year`s summer camp in my university getting on a plane.  I was so fluttered thinking that I can go abroad.  When I think about the pleasurable trip to abroad for the first time, I always thank to my parents.

 So, I was chosen for one of the members of English trainning camp to Boston.  I was really excited. Also plus, thinking to make friends in our university was really expected thing. Yes, it was truly, I had a great fun with my university friends from each different major. We didn`t know each other first, but we came to be so close as we came to stayed in college`s dormitory in Boston for 5weeks` stay. We had to attend the English Institute, `cause it was English language camp which was related to my university. 
 I went to Boston from the first day of July in 2006 till the August first week. For 5 days, I spent time there and I made lots of foreign friends regardless of age. It was so much meaningful thing to communicate with foreign friends who has different thoughts than me.  We shared our thouhts and I had a good talk with them.

 And I was falling in love with shopping!! The clothes` price was much more cheap than regular price in Korea. In Korea, we have to buy more expensively  for the American brand clothes. But it was much reasonable because I was in the America. The designs were much better various, and I was good to see the other brands that I couldn`t find in Korea.

 It was good time to increase my independency by away from my home and also good chance to live together with friends in a dorm life. I hope to have  such more experiencea a lot! ^ㅡ^

 The other girl :  I’ll start first. I saw dream girls few days ago. I heard it’s based on  true story and its sound track is just amazing. How about you?

 Ji hyeon :  The recent movie I saw was what a girl wants. I think it’s not a what a women wants, I think that is romantic comedy movie t’s like a coming of an age film cos the girl leaves America to find her father  who lives in Britain. She is really next door type girl but she became very special when she move to Britain cos her father was a noble in Britain. Ending is a happy ending I like the movie and also was good.

 Wuri : Who was in it?

 Ji hyeon : I have really bad memory to remember…I really don’t know any of them. I  recognize that I think it’s not released in Korea, You can find it on the internet.

 The other girl : could you tell me one more time of the title?

Ji hyeon : What a girl wants.

Wuri : last night I saw walk to remember. Do you know?

 The other girl : I love this.

Wuri : Mandy moor is in it and it’s a popular but they really love each other and a girl going to die and you know the plot is common but I like that kind of plot.

Ji hyeon : you like something sappy movie?

Wuri : yeah. And sound track was really good. You know Mandy Moor…

Ji hyeon : Ah. I know him.

Wuri : she. She is a actress.

Ji hyeon : sorry.

Wuri : I think she know how to act

 The other girl : really?

Wuri : For example, Her,,I learned act so I could see how to act. Her,, she knows how to express her feeling , show the expressing

 The other girl : I always thought Mandy Moor is girl-next-door type.

Wuri : Yeah,

The other girl : She’s not that beautiful..but..

Wuri : Her voice is really special.

Ji hyeon : I must have seen that.

Wuri : Have you ever heard only hope?

The other girl, Ji hyeon :  No.

Wuri : you haven’t? it’s some kind of ‘walk to remember’ and the..it’s very beauriful.

The other girl : What genre of the movie do you like?

Ji hyeon : I like usually mystery or thriller movie  because I don’t like predictable ending movie, I like some plot twists and I like the feeling when I saw the thriller movie. I can’t see horror movie which is too gory.

The other girl : rellay?

Wuri : Sometimes it’s violence

Ji hyeon : How about you?

Wuri: I like romantic comedy. I like happy ending. What about you?

The other girl: Actually, I like horror, si fi and historical drama movie except,,, but I don’t like sappy, tearjerker or gory movie. I don’t like too much blood in a movie. It makes sometimes me sick.

Wuri : I find our common. We hate horror movie and gory. Let’s talk about Special days.

Ji hyeon : What’s your memorable special day for you?

The other girl : This year, My boyfriend held a surprise party for me so it was a memorable moment in my life because We had,,Everybody brought their alcohol, it was a BYOB party and we had a hangover until the day after that day.

Ji hyeon : Is it for celebrating something?

The other girl : It was birthday party.

Wuri : How to meet your boyfriend?

The other girl : My best friend set a blind date for me so,,,Actually when I saw him, his first impression was not good because he’s too short but we hit it off until now.

Ji hyeon : In my case, When I go blind date I don’t think I can make it well with a man. I’m not for blind date.

Wuri : Yeah. Me too. When I was a freshman I had so many blind date. I couldn’t meet handsome and gentle guy. I really hope to meet that type of guy. It’s hard to find a good man. What was your special day?

Ji hyeon :  last year, that is on December 31th, the end of the year, last year, I went to a grand opening party which was in Hotel for celebrating New Year, That time was from,,many,,from the midnight,, about  eight p.m to six a.m until the next day. Actually the party was,,there was my favorite DJ musician, He was came to Korea, but was a foreigner who works in, stay in Japan. I really expect to meet him, not meet him, hearing his music so I went there with one

There were a lot of alcohol in the party even though it was party for the musician celebrating together new years day. There were a lot of alcohol and beverage were free.. also a lot of bread was free also atmosphere was really  good at the time of the New Year exactly we counted together and we celebrated.

Wuri : I think you really like music. You usually go to concert.

 Ji hyeon: Not so much but as much as I can.

Wuri : How to invite that party?

Ji hyeon : Actually I got a ,luckly, I won a ticket of some event of programme. I got invitation but have to pay, so we divided the price together. Icould go there cheap price.

Wuri : I envy you.

Ji hyeon : What was your special day?

Wuri : My special day is Christmas.

Actually I’m the santa clause .

The other girl : That’s really nice.

Wuri: well, when I was young, I was a dreammy girl. My parents was not. They didn’t understand special day kind of Christmas, Valentine’s Day, even children’s day. So I always disappointed that attitude so decided to be a Santa clause for my sister and Ialways bring,,give a Christmas present when she was sleeping, When she wake up, she really happy Iwas very happy too, but thesedays, she sometimes challenge sisters power, Two weeks ago, she had a mistake, so I was angry but she said ” so what” Her expression was hurt so I got angry, when I got angry I become little bit violence, Ibroke the light, throw the dining table, oh~I was really angry but after few days later she said “sorry”. So I forgive her, but I was good sister.

 Ji hyeon : Did you wore any make up when you being a Santa Clause?

 Wuri : No, when she was sleeping. Ialways wrote a card from Ori Santa clause. My name is O uri. I you erase my middle letter, It means duck in Korea, so Igive a hint but she didn’t recognize it’s me. Ialmost my name until 12 years old.

Ji hyeon : she has known for set up for O rii. Santa’s name..

Wuri : Santa Clause in anywhere but she always said A~~~it’s fall,ori Santa is real Santa. Maybe I don’t know, One Christmas I have to go somewhere, she recognize that was my sister. She said ‘you are good sister’. It was my special memory.

The other girl : where do you want to go on your honeymoon?

Ji hyeon : well, I haven’t thought about it. Getting married. If Ihave to decide right now, I might tell New York. New York is not appropriate for enjoy sight seeing like the sea or the nature but I love to shop maybe I can use the chance to shop as much as I can.

Wuri : I don’t think New York is perfect place. It’s so complicated.

The other girl : well, How about you?

Wuri : I have think about that before. I always dream my honeymoon. It will be very happy and I want to go to New Zealand.

The other girl : Oh~~

Wuri : I have to been there last year. It was really beautiful, scenery. So Iwant to go there someday. What about you?

The other girl : I think I really want to go South America such as Mexico or Brazil, Columbia. I love hot country.

Ji hyeon : Is it like danger place?

The other girl : I have my husband.

Ji hyeon : Do you like hot weather? You might hate winter.

The other girl: l love winter. What’s your favorite movie?

Ji hyeon : My favorite movie, last time Italked about my favorite movie, The host. Because there were a lot of science effect but it was not a childish. It was really good. And plot was good and Ilove the plot twists. I wanted the leading girl would be alive but she was not alive. Still they have a lot of, kind of argue, is she really died or not died and I like that. Character actor, Ireally like the movie.

Wuri : What’s your favorite movie?

The other girl : when I was a little girl, I really liked Rocky Balboa, it’s ending is always kind of predictable because it has always happy ending. I liked Sylvester stallone. Nowadays, Ilike Love Letter because  when I saw it first time it’s bit hard to follow because it has a lot of flashback moment and a leading lady’s role was double. She was a double role in a movie so I got confused, sometimes.

Wuri : When I see the movie, I feel boring.

The other girl: really?

Wuri :  Japanese movie always boring.

Ji hyeon : I think there’re two type. Who think about Japan movie is boring and other who don’t think about.

The other girl: some is boring, some is really nice.

Wuri :  I heard that the main actor is Korean.

The other girl : No, he’s Japanese.

Wuri : Main actor.

The other girl : He’s mega star in Japan. He’s Japanese.

Wuri : His parents, like blood.

Ji hyeon : What’s your favorite movie?

Wuri : My favorite movie is dying young. Julia Roberts is in it. When I see Julia at first time I think she is not pretty, she is unique appearance but I don’t think she is beautiful but after I see, saw this movie, she is beautiful and good actress. The main actor is Ann’s son. I don’t remember her name, red hair-Ann(she was speaking about Ann). The sound track was good too.

The other girl : Which actor or actress do you like? Who is your favorite actor?

Wuri : My favorite actress is Renee Zellweger. She’s kind of girl next door type but she’s really good at…and I love…love all of her movie. Bridget Jones’s Diary. How about you?

The other girl : I like Drew Berrymore. I always she’s famme fatale because she’s really glamorous. ..Her lips. My favorite actor is Matt Damon. Have you seen his movies? I think he’s really tough guy. How about you?

Ji hyeon : I like Sulgyunggu which is Korean actor, I think he’s character actor, The movies he actor in I think almost are not boring even though plot was kind of predictable but his acting not predictable so I really like it. Movie and I think something new movie are going to be release, so I’m expecting.

Write about my wardrobes and shopping

 Usually my favorite clothes among my wardrobes are mainly shirts. My body fat is more concentrated in my lggs and hips , so I love the much better fit of my upper part of my body. So that is the reason why I like my shirts. I like tight-fit shirts and colorful shirts . Usually I lost my mind when I see the pastel colored or shiny colored shirts. Among my wardrobes, my best clothes is brown- colored- cardigan of BCBG Maxazmaria which I bought in Boston, US. I bought it at a reasonable price which was on the bargain sale.

 The best place for me to go shopping are around Hong-ik University , Itawon, and Apgu-jung. I live near the Hong-dae  so I love to window shopping at around Hong-dae.  I usually go shopping at the road shops near those my favorite places, but as the famous name brands, I love to buy clothes in American apparel and UniQlo.

 But I have my ideal famous name brands that I can not easily buy. That , my favorite types of name brands are the designer labels. Those are, DKNY, Joseph, Hugo boss, marc Jacobs, and so on.  I like chick stylish kinds of brands, but usually they are expensive what my favorites are.

My favorite kind of movie or drama is usually concentrated on the mystery handling stories. However, at a day, I was searching the internet for some specific style of movie to see the other kind of movie. At then, some movie`s stilll-cutshot pictures seemed really attracted to my eyes. So, I downloaded the movie(it`s illegal though… ;;)

 The biggest movie`s feature is the fancy physical backround. The main characters are two girls, Dakota Fanning and Brittany Murphy. I liked it when I first found out those two are the only main characters. The genre of the movie is Romantic movie . That`s not kind of my favorite movie, but the movie was kind of the chick flick type of moive. Like ugly betty , the drama, those kinds of the chick flick are my style of movie among the romantic comedy type of the shows and movies that which is not really my favorites taste of movie genre.

 The story is about a woman who got already 22 years old and a girl who is about 12 or 13 years old.  That they become friends over the age gap after by their struggling in their meeting. The grown woman was so rich however she was not rich in her mind or her thoughts who just like to depend her life on money. But after she came to be bankrupt by a fraud of a con. She needed to work and then she starts working as a nanny of a little girl. The littled girl was so close-minded to other people except herself. That story was handling about how they could find themselves out to a true themselves.

The story was naturally flowing how they found themselves out to true themselves. And the thing what their backround and what they wear and like were so fancy which made my eyes captured as a title of the movie. So, I think this movie is so attractive in the harmony of the fancy eyes-capturing and the natural lineage of the interaction of the two woman that how they learn the real meaning of growing up.

So, I recommend this movie to all of you. It wasn`t released in Korea, so I think many people don`t know about the movie. But it is really good movie which makes viewer`s mind in a warm state. And also the acts of the characters were so unique and really good.

About my memory of the best party and Wedding

The unforgettable party event in my life was this year`s concert party that I went with my friends. The host of the party is a Japanese DJ musician who is really famous in Japan. It was the end of the day of last year, 31th of December. I and my friends were the fan of that musician, so we enjoyed that party. That party was taken place in Hyatt Hotel. It was unfamiliar to me the concert took place in a famous hotel. There were many kinds of beverages we could enjoy and there were free supported snacks and donuts that also we could enjoy.  The music was good and all of the persons in the hall counted down the New year`s day together. When  after all the persons counted down for the New year of the first day together, paper stuffs was coming from the top of the hall. It was the unorgettable experience to me.

 It was the wedding of my far flung cousin who lives away from my hometown. It was my teenager years of the 6th in elementary school, most of the relatives came to see the wedding. It is not much easy to meet the most whole relatives in the same time. Nowadays, I live in Seoul, so I cannot go to visit my relative`s  wedding recently. But it is not much easy to see every relatives usually so that memory of the wedding became impressive to me. And also I love to have my favorite food , Bul-bak(soup of noodles, vegetables and meat). I think traditionally the wedding reception food menu is usally Bul-bak, however it sometimes different from the regions of this country. So, it was really impressive with many relatives and my favorite food.

So-jung :How about talking about our hobbies?

Ji-hyeon: Great! I love music, which is all about music.

          I love to do things concerning with music, for example, instening music, going some concerts, and love to play musical instrument.

Wu-ri: What kind of musical instrument?

Ji-hyeon: It’s embarrass to say, but I play Flute and Korean traditional bamboo flute(Dae-gum). For th flute, it has been a little bit long for 8 years sinc I have started to play it. However, for Dae-gum, it has’nt been that long…. Maybe for 10 months I’ve started to play dae-gum.

Wu-ri: This year, you started to play dae-gum.

Ji-hyeon: Yeah.

Wu-ri: Why did you started learning it this year?

Ji-hyeon: Because at the end of the last year, I was interested in listening Korean Traditional music. The first time I went to the concert of traditional music, I was impressed by the sound of Dae-gum.

Wu-ri: Wow-!!

Ji-hyeon: So, after I saw a man who play dae-gum pretty well. I came to start learning it.

So-jung: What’s the difference between flute and bamboo flute(dae-gum)?

Ji-hyeon: Yeah, it’s really similar, but the difference comes from the shape of lips while I play “Dan-so(smaller bamboo flute)“.

Wu-ri: Dan-so? Ah~!

Ji-hyeon: Dae-gum’s hole is much bigger than flute’s .

Wu-ri: I  see~.

Ji-hyeon: In the first six months, it was really difficult for me. However, I try to ply it, so now I became accustomed to play it. It can make the sound.

Wu-ri: oh~! cool! When I was in high school, I played Korean music.

Ji-hyeon: What was it?

Wu-ri: I learned  panori (Korean traditional singing).

Young-ju&Ji-hyeon&So-jung :wow!! Terrific!

Wu-ri: After I took that musical lesson, I came to know Korean Traditional Music is not really boring.

Ji-hyeon: Yeah, I think it’s very attractive, When we get into it.

         And.. what’s your hobby?

wu-ri: Hmm… I like watching TV. So, I love all kinds of Programs. I think it’s important for me to become a reporter in media.

Ji-hyeon: It’s really interesting!!

          Do you have any specific department that you wanna work for, someday?

Wu-ri: Yes. I’m interested in Journalism. And, actually I’m doing work as a news            reporter in internet af SBS brodcasting.

Young-ju&Ji-hyeon&So-jung :wow!! That’s pretty cool.

Wu-ri: And, fortunately, I had few chance to meet media persons that                     Io-sang-Jim& Yun-Young-mi, anouncers.

So-jung: Oh, I know both of them who they are.

Wu-ri: And also I had chance to meet the chief of the press Department, and I talked with him while eating dinner together.

Young-ju: It’s really great! You were really lucky!!

Wu-ri: Yeah, I was so nervous then, but it was really useful to me.

Ji-hyeon: Isn’t it difficult to become a internet news reporter?

Wu-ri: well.. That’s actually does, but I was very luck, I think.

Ji-hyeon: so , How long have you started doing that work?

Wu-ri: I started doing it a few months ago.

       I don’t have that much experience, but I’m try to working hard.

So-jung :And is there anyone who you want to interview?

Wu-ri: I want to interview Bangi-moon (korean representative Diplomacy minister) I         think he’s really a great person.

Young-ju: And how about you, young-ju? What’s your hobby? I like to go clubs.

Wu-ri :Wow!!

young-ju: Especially foreign friends. You know.. it’s not that easy to make foreign             friends in korea.

Wu-ri: Than, usually from which countries, the foreign friends are there?

Young-ju: Well, from various countries… Europe, Austrailia, England, and so on.

Wu-ri: Interesting! And of course, you speak to them in English, too?

Youn-ju:haha-. Of course! I think I’m an out-going Person.

So-jung: Yeah, I also am an out-going person!

Wu-ri&Ji-hyeon: Yes! We’d love to fo together.

So-jung: Well, my favorite club is “timpan”, I’m not sure you guys know that club…

Ji-hyeon: oh, I think I know that club! Well, maybe, isn’t it near Hong-dae, right?

Young-ju: Yeah, right. It’s near Hong-dae rodeo street. The club name is Tim-pan.            It’s famous among some foreigners, I think.

Ji-hyeon: How often do you go there?

Young-ju: About once or twice in 2 weeks.

Wu-ri: Do you like to dance?

Young-ju: Yeah, I’m not very much good at it, however I really love dancing. Then, how do you like dancing, girl2?

So-jung: I like dancing, too.

Young-mi&Ji-hyeon&Wu-ri: Wow!! That’s cell!

So-jung: I like dancing until when I was a sophomore. But it has been long since I           didn’t go there.

Ji-hyeon:  Then. what’s your hobby?

So-jung : I love music like you. I love everything about music. I love listening to music, and go clubs, nearing music &dancing thgether.

Young-ju :Then, what kind of music do you like?

So-jung : I like hip-hop especially.

Young-ju: oh, same as me!!

So-jung : Especially, “The chemical brothers”are which I like best!

Wu-ri: Are they rock singers?

So-jung: Hmm no. They came to korea last year to the concert in Incheon of Rock  pentaport. I hoped to go , but it was too expensive . so I couldn’t afford to go . I should’ve saved some money….

Wu-ri: Hmm. That’s too bad…. I also have similar experience that when Rock group        ‘Muse” came to korea last year.

young-ju&Ji-hyeon&So-jung : I like “muse’ too!

Wu-ri: I hoped to see them in real. I want to go to their concert someday, really.

Ji-hyeon: Don’t worry. You sure can do someday!!

 

Choosing the bridegroom who the best suit for ‘Susan Carson’

1.  Harry Walters
As I think about the conditions and the personalitys`  of every bridegroom candidates, the best person for Susan would be Harry. Because they`ve known each other since they were children. I think that`s pretty important that marriage is a reality. And Harry is prepared to do anything for her. That they know each other pretty well, and they can understand themselves really well. So their marrige would less encountered by the disagreement. And his job is good as a best husband and the gentle personality is attractive.

2. Mike Smith
I think the second important thing in choosing a bridegroom is the aptitude of each other`s  individuality as a couple. As the real example is the hobby. They both like to do physical activity that reflects their own sense of values. The opinion about liking something makes people to share similar feelings. That they think similarly and they can feel really comfortable each other. And the opposite personality would be a big help to them. But Susan would might try not to make him in cheatting on other woman.

3. Paul Nelson
I consider a lot between Paul and Parvis. But the reason why I picked him is that he seemed to much believable as a lifelong husband. Same job that make her do her job in comfortable state of mind. And she likes him a lot is also important, and he seems to be a faithful person, that is truley important. But between them, there is a lot age gap , but he would be a person who have a strong faith in living a wise life.

4. Parvis Ghorbani
Love at a first sight is a quite attractive thing for a couple , but the strong respect to each other should be based on.  Parvis is so a charming person as a dating person in  free love. In that condition  he is a romantic person and he`s family is wealthy, that can give woman to dream about daydream for her princess future dream as a woman who fall in love.  Also, he can be more a good husband as a stable- income- earing person that he will become a doctor. Talkative personality can be tiring sometimes but it also can mean her that he can be a very active husband to her whenever she feels lonely in marrige life.

5. Adrian Tinsley
 The reason he is a least candidate in choosing the bridegroom is because his personality. That he is so quite and brusque.  If, Susan`s personality was very active he could be very fit to her as a husband, but she is so quite and shy and he`s also quite and brusque , that means they are least fit each other.  His job is great , but unfortunately the so silmilarity personality between them can be an obstacle for their marrige life.
